Xaxaba is a remote and rustic destination overlooking the famous Chief's Island in the acclaimed Okavango Delta region, and offers plenty of water-based safari activities. It's a mobile camp run by the local community and offers ample opportunity to spot wildlife while out foot, mekoro or in the game viewer. Xaxaba is the epitome of a true Botswana wilderness experience in a world-heritage site renowned for its abundance of wildlife.

SINGLE SUPPLEMENTS: No single supplements apply in Green & Shoulder seasons, however a 50% single supplement applies at Camp Savuti and Camp Linyanti in High Season.
Located on a private island deep within the heart of the Okavango Delta, lies the remote Xaxaba Mobile Camp run by Afrika Ecco Safaris from the local Xaxaba community. This is a true rustic, wilderness experience ideal for the wild at heart. The focus here is on the community, the wildlife and untouched views in an area not known to many visitors. The island overlooks the famous Chief’s Island, and guests will have the opportunity to enjoy walks on this island. There are plenty of activities to enjoy that cater for the adventurous.
Expect mokoro trips in traditional canoes, boat excursions, fishing, and visits to the local community village. There’s even an opportunity to celebrate golden hour in a special sundowner spot on the banks of the intricate waterways.

There is a maximum of 6 dome tents individually set-up in a prime location overlooking the world-renown Chief's Island. Each of the tents sleeps 2 people, which means the camp can accommodate 12 people in total.

Meals are prepared on at the camp by the chef.
